En Fuego Productions LLC is a full-service dance production company formed by a combination of dance troupes, instructors and show producers that have come together to improve the quality and availability of Latin dance performances as well as educate the broader community on Latin culture through dance theater and dance instruction. Never before have so many of the different Latin styles been brought together under one umbrella. Besides our theater show series “En Fuego Latino”, we also have specific troupes available for private parties and venues as well as experienced instructors to bring everyone in on the beauty and passion of Latin dance.
About the Founders:
Jeny Paola Osma
Founder, Director and Choreographer
Paola Osma created performance work from 1998–2003 in Bogota, Colombia. She has performed internationally on stages in South America, Europe and the United states, working for 5 years with “El Ballet de Colombia and Tierra Colombian dance company” – winning a lot of prestige and experience in Latin styles. Getting her master’s degree in Dramatics Art from the ASAP (Bogota-Colombia) she has been acting and working in theatrical broadway productions for over 15 years, on national and international stages, with some of the most important and legendary Latinos, French and German directors like Jorge Ali Triana, Fanny Micky, Maestre Michael Didim and Maestre Dieter Heiths. In 2004 she moved to Colorado where she founded Samballistic Fever Dance Troupe (2004–2008) performing hot samba and traditional dances from Latin America in dance festivals, dance events, Salsa contests, clubs and fundraisers. In 2007 she created a contemporary Flamenco contemporary piece titled “Tacon y Madera”. Also in 2007 she undertook the art of aerial dance and combined that with different Latin styles to create a unique fusion. She is a visionary and defender of Latin culture.
Tate Behning
Founder and Producer
Tate Behning comes from an event and show production background spending nearly 7 years with the Van Heyst Group producing executive events. When not producing shows or supporting the En Fuego operations, he is often found cycling along the Front Range, swimming in a reservoir or running the trails around Boulder. As professional triathlete he has competed internationally and understands the discipline required to achieve great results. He is also in the process of earning his MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
